JV Softball Wins Again 🏆

The JV softball team defeated Hopewell yesterday by the score of 8-6. The girls played both a strong offensive and defensive game. The outfield made up of Laycha Evans, Cailey Green, Jamie Ervin, and Tia Outlaw came up big catching 7 pop fly’s for outs during the game. Izzy Falzone was strong on the mound striking out 9 batters. Offensively, the Lady Blue Devils found their bats to reclaim the lead they had the entire game during the top of the 7th inning. Kendall Bartkowski started things off with a double to center field, followed by Katie McGinn hitting a single to score Kendall which was the tieing run. Laycha Evans then had a sacrifice to get the winning run in for the girls. Haley Allen had a single and a double, Jamie Ervin had a single, Cailey Green had 2 doubles, and Tia Outlaw had a sacrafice hit for an RBI. Great win ladies!!
